Kate is going on four years of vision loss. In that time, she's struggled to find resources in her home state of Mississippi. When she started broadening her search to nationwide resources, she was able to connect with First Aid for the Blind. | Blind Training, Blind Support, Blind Resources

Luckily, Aaron had previously connected with Kurt Deichmann, president of First Aid for the Blind, in a friend-of-a-friend situation. Kurt was able to provide Aaron with the FAFTB Beginner's Independent Living Skills Training and teach him how to navigate the world without sight.
